Matt Samach
My academic and professional history reflect rigorous quantitative experience in data science and systems engineering with social science applications including econometrics and public policy. In May 2020, I completed a Master of Science degree in Public Policy, Management, and Data Analytics at the H. John Heinz III College at Carnegie Mellon University. I also have a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Florida (2017). I have professional experience with operational improvement from my time working at UF Health Shands Hospital and financial IT systems from my time at Brightstar Corp. Finally, I have experience working with public agencies and community advocacy groups through my coauthorship of Beyond the East Busway - Heinz Systems Report (2020).
